2. Blend long and short tail keywords

So, a perfect blend of the two will pave your way to digital marketing success including, long term goals and short term wins.

Once you are ready with your long list of suggested keywords, open Google Ad Words Keyword Research Tool and add the keywords in the search box.

Look and compare the important aspects of keywords, like its average monthly searches, competition, PPC Bid, allintitle and SERP- to narrow down the long list into the short ones.

4. Choose keywords as per the content
While looking at the keyword suggestions in keyword research tool don’t get confused and pick any random keyword. Choose the one that perfectly matches to your need as per content, and is also relevant to it.

If you do find a good keyword related to your business or to your audience but doesn’t match up with your landing page, then don’t use it. Instead create a different landing page on your website with a relevant content suitable for that keyword and use it.

To bring traffic on a website, but not to forget the genuine one; you have to pick the right keywords.  Doing the correct keyword research and using them on the most important places like Meta title, Meta description, header tags and last but not the least on the content will give the right results on SERP.
