Google has
pushed out the latest Panda Update 4.2
this past weekend, but not all the web masters are able to notice this roll out
as this update is happening very slowly and is expected to take several months
to be completed.
The new Panda update 4.2 happened 10 months after the last update, which took place on 25th Sep 2014 and is said to affect 2 to 3% of English language queries. This new rollout could offer another chance to recover for the websites, which were penalized by Google in September 2014, but yes, this could only be possible only if the website owners and webmasters have made all the necessary changes on their websites before the Google Panda Update for the year 2015. As these updates have a cut-off date, any changes made on the websites / web pages after this date is of no value and will be applied to the next refresh or update.
According to Google, webmasters will lately see the
impact on the ranking of their websites due to the latest Google Panda Update and the
search engine giant has not yet given any details on - why the update is this slow
to rollout. Certain speculations surrounding the Google’s apparent decision to
reduce the speed (by which websites are affected by the Panda update) are
making rounds; one is that the company wants to make the Panda update a daily
occurrence. However, to make this happen company needs to process all its data at
a very high speed which makes daily Panda Updates far from becoming the reality
at this point of time.
